Let's play tag...you're IT!

Carol tagged me to play "Sixth Photo Tag"
Rules: Go to the pictures folder on you computer.
Choose your sixth file.
Choose your sixth picture.
Blog about it.
Tag six more people. This picture was taken during the 2008 elk hunt. It rained most of the weekend. A little rain didn't stop the guys from telling their jokes and tall tales! They enjoy being together as they discuss the days hunting adventure-no matter the weather. LtoR: Jason, Derrek, Clair, Kevin and Brady. (the weather during the deer hunt was great)

I need to tag six people so Bonnie, Gina, Mark, Cassie, Alisha and Ashley--you are IT!!

Spring Fever!

By last Saturday most of the snow in our yard had melted-except some that was in the shade most of the time. Kevin is tired of winter and ready to work outside. (don't ask me why, but he really enjoys mowing!) He decided to "help" the snow melt, so he got the snow blower and blew the last remaining pile all over the yard so it could be in the sun and melt faster. He raked some of the dead grass out of the lawn out front. Jason spent the afternoon raking his front lawn too.
Well Mother Nature wanted the last laugh! We woke up to about six inches of snow Monday morning. At three o'clock that afternoon I measured seventeen inches in our front yard and it was still snowing lightly. A lot of it has compacted and melted so hopefully it will be gone in another week. Then Kevin can start working in the yard again!

A Few Fun Facts

Life is not too exciting right now, and since I haven't blogged for a while, I decided to share a few fun facts about each of the kids. My sister Bonnie has a video on her blog that had a line in it that I love. It said "The days are long, but the years are short" That is so true when you are discussing children. In a blink of an eye they go from babies to parents! These three are certainly growing up fast. I love their smiles, giggles, hugs, and personalities. Kayla is seventeen months old-boy doesn't time fly?! She is such a little sweetheart. She is starting to have a little vocabulary. She says Mum, Daddy, Tori, stuck, on, up, light, puppy, dog, and a few others. When she is asked a question she almost always says "ya". At her young age, she can blow her nose as well as an adult! EVERYday when Kevin comes home, she runs to him, grabs his hand, says "dog" and pulls him towards the back door so he can show her the dog. When the telephone rings she yells "Daddy, Daddy" because Derrek has been refereeing alot lately so he calls home and Carol will say " it's Daddy!" She is a light in my life.
Titan is three and a half years old. He is both an angel and a devil! He loves Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry cartoons. He knows how to work the tv, cable box, and the vcr/dvd player so he usually has complete control over what is watched at my house! He likes his dog Jazzer, toy cars, and having his own way-(of course,- he's three!). He wants to wear his "big boy underwear" backwards so he can see the cartoon figure on them. He makes me laugh everyday.

Tori just turned nine years old. She loves to sing and dance and she has a wonderful imagination. Some of her school friends haven't learned that it's okay to have more than one friend at a time. This worries Tori. She seems to be the peacemaker and wants everyone to get along and be friends. She has a boyfriend named Ryan (don't tell her I told!) She is so funny-- she twists the stem of an apple as she says the alphabet, then says "I don't know why it always comes off at "R" but it does!" She is such a joy.
